Wondering how to join the PADI Pro’s family?

This course is your first step in to professional diving career. Here you receive the chance to make your passion be your future occupation or business. It is also the beginning of your journey to become a PADI Instructor.


What are attributes from a PADI Divemaster?

Divers and student divers will seek on you:

A high level of diving skills and problem solving, an excellent knowledge of dive theory, trained to assist a PADI Instructor with student divers. Responsible, respectful individual, oriented towards the   safety of divers under his supervision.


Course prerequisites:

Be certified as a PADI Rescue Diver, or have an equivalent certification from another training agency. You also need to show proof of a First Aid/ Emergency First Response and CPR course, dated not more than 2 years.

The program prepares you for your duties as a professional in diving and is equally divided. Following is a course and internship program overview.

Dive Theory (click here for details)

In this section the candidates will work on their dive theory knowledge concerning Physics, Physiology, equipment, environment and decompression theory. Also the discussion of knowledge reviews from the Divemaster Manual and the use of the PADI Instructor Manual.

A section focused to the use and importance of PADI Standards is one of the highlights for this portion of your training.

This section will develop mastery at demonstration level from al 20 basic scuba skills. Also assistance to Instructors with student divers in training in confined water. Stamina as well as rescue assessment will be also main objectives for this portion.

Supervising general diving activities and assisting student divers in training in Open water will be the main focus for this section. Candidates will gather the necessary experience to comfortably lead certified divers, anticipate possible problems and present solutions to them.
